LIMPOPO TOUR ITINERARY:

• Monday morning on the 11^th of October we set off on our tour.Pit stops will be made every hour.(for the smokers & any other pit stops that needs to be made).

• This is where our expedition begins.We leave Sondela at approximately 8 o’clock.We set off to our first stop, which is the Moorddrif Monument (114km), we will have our first pit stop here. This will take us about an hour and a half to reach. We will stop here for approximately 10-13minites. (09:30-09:43)

• We will then move on from Moorddrif Monument to Chuniespoort (85km), this will take us about an hour and ten minutes to reach. We will spend about 10-14 minutes here. (Pit stop here). (10:54-11:06)

• We will then pass through Sekhukhune on to the next stop, Penge Mine (94km), which would take us about an hour and 29 minutes. We will stop her for approximately 16-21minutes. (Pit Stop Here). (12:36-12:54)

• From Penge Mine we move on to Ohrigstad (72km), which will take us about an hour and ten minutes to reach. Here we will most likely buy any necessary items that would be needed that night and the following day. We will stop here for about 45-60 minutes. (Pit Stop Here). (14:04-14:55)

• From Ohrigstad we head out to the Echo Caves (26km), which will take about 30minutes to reach. Here we will be admiring the interesting Caves, this will take about 1-1 and a half hours. (Pit stop Here). (15:25-16:47)

• From the Echo Caves we travel to the Blyde River Canyon (27km), this is where we will set up camp for the night. Will take about 25minutes to reach.

• End of the day we traveled about 420 km.

• Today we will hit the road early. We will leave Blyde River at 05: 50.

• From Blyde River we will travel through the JG Strydom Tunnel. This will take us approximately 37minutes to reach(43.2km). Will be admired for at least 2-5minutes. (06:27-06:33).

• Next we head out to the Boabab Tree, we will travel for 16 minutes before reaching this (20.3km).We will spend at least 3-6minutes here. (06.50-06:55).

From the Boabab tree we move on to S.A. Wildlife Cottage. We will be traveling for 68.5km before reaching. This will take us about 57minutes to reach. We will pass through and admired.(07:53-07:56

ž Next we head out to Setara, here we will we taken on a game drive. We will travel for 61km. This will take about 1hour to reach. (08:59-10:45).

ž After our game drive we will head out to Letaba, this is where we will spend our next night. Letaba is 71,1 km from Setara. This will take us about 50minutes to reach.We will begin unpacking once we arrive.(11:35).

ž Later that night from about 18:00-20:00 we will receive a private tour at the Elephant Museum.

ž Today we set of to the Nhalanganini Dam, here we will admire the view and say a couple of things about this site.

ž After our dam visit we will move forward to the Masorini Museum, here we will here a little bit of history etc.

ž After that we move on to Amarula, here we will have a little taste of the amarula that they make here.

ž After our visit to Amarula, we take on the long road to Magoebaskloof.

We will set up camp here were we will stay for the night.

ž Today we will travel from Magoebaskloof to the Old Fort Marabastad. Here we will admire the site and take some pictures.

ž Then we head out to Makapans Cave.

ž After we were at the Makapans Cave we travel all the way to Nylsvley.

ž We will set up camp here and spend our last night of the tour.

ž Our last day of the tour, day 5.

ž Today we will leave Nylsvley and head back home to Sondela.

ž Having in mind that the tour is finished and hoping that we have learned a lot from this.
